What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is modern alternative to braces, using clear and flexible plastic to move misaligned teeth into their correct position comfortably. Invisalign is also removable, so you can quickly eat your favorite foods and brush your teeth while still getting a straightened and corrected smile.

Most of our patients achieve their smile goals within 6-24 months of receiving their Invisalign. This treatment is best for patients with mild-to-moderate teeth misalignments or improper bites. When patients have more severe smile imperfections, we help to connect them to local trusted orthodontists.

Your treatment timeline:

1. 3D scans of your teeth are taken with digital x-rays and photos using our intraoral camera technology. All of this information gets sent to the Invisalign lab.
2. At the lab, your aligners will be custom designed with computer-aided AI precision to ensure maximum performance and comfort. Our doctors at Studio Dental and the orthodontists at the lab are in close communication to carefully craft and formulate the best course of action for your smile restoration. Once your custom-made Invisalign trays are ready, we’ll call you to come and pick them up.
3. Once you have received your Invisalign trays, you should wear them for a minimum of 22 hours a day, including while asleep. You should only remove them to brush your teeth, floss your teeth, or eat. Our patients at Studio Dental typically require between 6 and 24 months to complete Invisalign treatment. However, you may experience longer treatment times if you do not wear them for enough time throughout the day.
4. After completing the treatment, you will wear a retainer during sleep to maintain your new and perfect smile.
